Cancellations
1. Order Cancellation: Is it possible if I change my mind after ordering?
Certainly, you have the option to cancel all products within 24 hours of placing the order. We will initiate a 100% refund, and you will receive a confirmation email. However, please note that Ready To Ship orders are ineligible for cancellations if they are dispatched within 24 hours of receiving the order.
2. The "24 Hour" Deadline: Why is it necessary?
Upon order confirmation, we promptly begin processing your order. The steps of picking, stitching or customizing, packaging, and logistics are initiated, and the ordered product has usually advanced through several stages.
3. Is cancellation possible after 24 hours of ordering?
We provide a provision for cancellations after 24 hours. However, orders canceled after this timeframe are handled on a case-by-case basis by our Customer Care team, depending on the progress of the order. If we have already progressed with Stitching or shipping, we cannot offer you the cancellation. Please contact us immediately if you change your mind.
4. Potential Delays at Sakhi Fashions due to "unforeseen circumstances"
We strive to ensure your ordered products are shipped within the promised time. However, delays in processing or delivery may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, stock unavailability, Covid-related lockdowns, or courier delays. These situations are beyond our control, and refunds or cancellations may not be possible. We will continue processing your orders and attempt to deliver them as soon as possible. If stock becomes unavailable after placing an order, we will promptly refund your amount. We are not able to cancel in these situations.
5. Rectifying Missing Information After Placing an Order
Don't worry if you've missed adding critical details while placing your order, such as:
Complete shipping information
Measurement attributes
Please contact us in such cases and provide the necessary details. As a policy, we reach out to customers via their registered email address. If we don't receive a response, we attempt to contact them by phone.
We keep customers informed at every stage of their order, and timely input from customers is greatly appreciated.
Returns
1. I received my order, but there is an issue. Can I return the ordered items?
Certainly, at Sakhi Fashions, we strive to cultivate a strong bond with our customers rather than merely making transactions. Although we take rigorous measures to ensure that your orders are delivered in impeccable condition, there is a possibility that:
- Manufacturing defects may have gone unnoticed during packaging; or
- An incorrect item may have been shipped to you inadvertently.
Anything outside this is not eligible for returns. If customer still insists for returns which is outside the above like " Did not like the colour or fabric , changed the mind , given wrong size during order " , Customer need to demonstrate the product is with tags , not used and unboxing video is a must. We will investigate on case by case basis and issue Refund by subtracting the actual Shipment charges and Processing fee of $15 AUD. And customer has to send the product back to Australian Shop location at their own cost.
Any clearance items are not eligible for Refund.
2. How promptly should I contact you regarding any issues?
We kindly request that you reach out to us within 24 hours of receiving your order to report any complaints concerning damaged products, manufacturing defects, or any other concerns. Anything beyond this timeline is not eligible for Returns / Refunds . We require unboxing video mandatorily to confirm the defect from our side.
3. In what situations will returns not be accepted?
Please note that any products purchased from our 'Sale' section /on Clearance will not be eligible for returns under our Returns Policy.
Additionally, we are unable to accept returns for products dispatched to us more than 2 days after the receipt of the shipment. Therefore, ensure that you report the issue to us and promptly dispatch the product once we approve the return request.
Please refrain from dispatching items before receiving a confirmation email from us, as we will be unable to accommodate such requests. Any returns , customer is responsible for sending the product back to us at their own expense.
4. What is the procedure for returning an item ordered from Sakhi Fashions?
Please follow these steps to return an order:
- Notify Sakhi Fashions If you have any grievances concerning the product you received, please report it to us within 24 hours of delivery.
- Confirmation email from Sakhi Fashions : We will send you a Return Authorization confirmation email within 2-3 business days. Do not ship items before receiving this email, as we cannot process "Items Returned" without the Return Authorization Reference. If necessary, we may request a digital photograph of the item for our internal review
Shipping the Items Back When returning items:
- Follow our return authorization email instructions and return the package through a Registered Local Postal Service (with tracking facility and without insurance).
- Ensure all items are returned in their original condition with price tags intact, original accessories, and original packaging.
- Clearly mark the package as "Defective Items for Returns" and "not for sale".
- Please note that customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returned items
D. Receipt and Inspection of Items at Sakhi Fashions: As per our policy, our team will examine the returned products
and identify the defects or variations indicated by you.
E. Proposed Solutions after Receipt of Returned Items Upon inspection of the returned items, our Customer Care team will propose remedial solutions on a case-by-case basis:
- a. Select an alternate item of equal value as a replacement
- b. Receive a refund, as determined on a case-by-case basis
5. What options are available if Sakhi Fashions made an error?
We will duly acknowledge the issue, and you may choose from the following options:
- Receive a replacement item
- Obtain a refund of the order value if the item cannot be replaced
6. Am I responsible for the courier service fees for shipping the item back?
Yes, customers are required to bear the shipping charges and any additional expenses for returns.
7. Which cases are not eligible for returns /refunds ?
- Wrong size provided by customer
- Fitting issues in Standard Size ( Standard size comes with standard measurements. Unless you have chosen custom fit , we cannot refund for general fitting issues related to your height , size)
- Colour variations ( there will be minor variations due to photography. We are not responsible for these variations)
- Fabric
- Didnt like the dress (Heavy, doesnt go well etc)
- Sleeves, Designs, lining issues
We cannot offer refund for items as above.
Any product request for returns after specified hours, is not eligible for returns or refunds.
