How to measure

Get it right first time

Watch each step, or tap a step to see where the tape goes.

Soft tapeUse a soft sewing tape measure, not a metal one.
Light clothingMeasure over a fitted top or the bra you'll wear.
Stand relaxedFeet together, arms by your side, breathe normally.
Snug, not tightKeep one finger under the tape. A friend's help makes it easier.

  1. Bust

    Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level across your back.

  2. Waist

    Measure around your natural waist, the narrowest part, just above your belly button.

  3. Hips

    With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips.

  4. Shoulder

    Measure across your back from one shoulder tip to the other.

  5. Sleeve length

    From your shoulder tip down your arm to where you want the sleeve to end.

  6. Kameez length

    From the top of your shoulder, next to your neck, down to where you want the hem.

  7. Bottom length

    From your waist down to your ankle, or wherever you want the pants or salwar to finish.
