How to measure

Get it right first time

Watch each step, or tap a step to see where the tape goes.

Soft tapeUse a soft sewing tape measure, not a metal one.
Light clothingMeasure over a fitted top or the bra you'll wear.
Stand relaxedFeet together, arms by your side, breathe normally.
Snug, not tightKeep one finger under the tape. A friend's help makes it easier.

  1. Bust

    Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level across your back.

  2. Under-bust

    Measure around your ribcage, directly under your bust. This sets how the blouse sits.

  3. Waist

    Measure where you will wear the lehenga, usually your natural waist or just below it.

  4. Hips

    With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips.

  5. Blouse length

    From the top of your shoulder, next to your neck, down to where the blouse should end.

  6. Lehenga length

    From your waist down to the floor, wearing the heels you plan to wear on the day.
