When is Navratri 2026?

Sharad Navratri — the big one, with garba and dandiya every night — runs from Sunday 11 October to Monday 19 October 2026, with Dussehra following on 20 October. That's this week, so if you're still deciding what to wear, now's the time to order.

What to wear for garba and dandiya

Navratri nights are about movement — twirling, clapping and dancing for hours — so the outfit needs to be as practical as it is festive. A flared silhouette that moves well is the classic choice:

  • Lehenga choli — the traditional pick for garba, the fuller the skirt the better it swings
  • Sharara suits — flowy and comfortable for a full night of dancing
  • Palazzo suits — an easy, modern alternative if you'd rather skip the skirt

Colour of the day

Many families follow the nine-colour Navratri sequence — a different colour for each night, tied to a form of the goddess. If you're planning outfits around it, our salwar kameez and lehenga ranges span the full spectrum, so you can mix and match across the nine nights rather than buying nine new outfits.
